The PD Student Program was created to support dropzone and student training operations that are
interested in providing high quality equipment to their students. Our goal is to help dropzones that are
dedicated to growing our sport by bringing in new skydivers and preparing them for the next step in
canopy flight.

The PD Reserve combo pricing is applied when ordered with a PD Student Navigator. The PD Reserve
should be similar in size to the Navigator ordered. Purchase of a PD Reserve is OPTIONAL.

Opening Forgiveness: Students receive immediate feedback without hard openings

typical errors such as early flare

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What color can I use instead of silver for the first cell? This cell can be any color you’d like. Some
dropzones choose to use different colors for this cell in order to distinguish between students in the air.
What if I want to order a custom colored Navigator? Our PD Student Program has standardized the
canopy so that it has a recognizable color pattern with a PD Student logo and is priced accordingly. To
order a custom Navigator, please contact your dealer directly.
Does it have to come with Dacron and #5 links? This configuration is the most commonly used and
recommended setup for student use.
Can I order just the PD Reserve at the special pricing? The PD Student program is designed to provide
an affordable main and reserve combination for your dropzone. The special reserve price applies only
when purchased with a PD Student Navigator.
Can I purchase Optimum reserves through this program? Please contact PD to discuss pricing to order
an Optimum within this program.
OTHER INFORMATION:
• Qualifying customers are any skydiving center or club that serves as a teaching institution for students.
• There are no restrictions on how long canopies must be kept.
• No minimum purchase is required.
• Dropzones purchasing PD Student canopies will also receive added support and communication from our
company as partners in the development of the sport.
